its a top loader. model #11020622991

was working fine when it stopped during the wash cycle.


go to restart it and all i hear is a hum

any help is appreciated.

when i walked over to it there was a horrible smell, burning electrical smell. the smell went away and i dont see any signs of burnt wires. i have the whole damn thing in pieces now,

when i was removing the capacitor to check it, the terminal either broke off right then, or it had broken prevously, but eeither way the termal broke off the capacitor, so i know its broken.

anything else i should check ?

You should check to which group your posting. Perhaps HVAC doesn't mean what
you think it does.
